About
Dr. Judith Williams is an internationally recognized human resources leader. As a metrics-driven human capital strategist, Dr. Williams is known for focusing on cross functional outcomes across the organizations she leads and advises. With more than twenty years global human resources and cross-cultural diversity experience, she has developed deep expertise in building and developing diverse talent pipelines, creating inclusive cultures, and building leadership accountability for all talent outcomes.
Dr. Williams most recently served as Senior Vice President, Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, and Global Head of People Sustainability, and at SAP, SE. Where she was responsible for building and maintaining a healthy and inclusive culture for SAP’s more than 100,000 global employees. She managed the Global Health and Wellbeing Team and Global Diversity and Inclusion Office, in addition to a global team of 45 employees and $40,000,000 global budget. She designed and deployed a global diversity and inclusion strategy for SAP’s full global workforce, driving global campaigns for healthy habits, preventive healthcare, and most recently the company’s response to COVID-19. Dr. Williams has also served as an advisor to the SAP’s start-up accelerator, SAP.iO Supporting early stage founders as they establish people practices and organizational culture.
Prior to joining SAP, Dr. Williams was Special Consultant for the ReFrame Project. ReFrame is an influential group of entertainment industry leaders that has developed a research-based action plan to advance gender parity in Hollywood and the media industry at large. Dr. Williams has also served as Global Head of Diversity at Dropbox and held roles at Google, and CEB (formerly the Corporate Executive Board).
Dr. Williams was appointed to the World Economic Forum Global Future Council on Equality and Inclusion and Community of Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officers. She serves as a Special Advisor for Brighton Park Capital and a member of the International Advisory Board or ESSEC, in Paris. She has served on the Business Roundtable Education and Workforce Coordinating Committee.
She holds an A.B. from Harvard College, an MA and PhD from Stanford University, and is currently a College Director for the Harvard Alumni Association.
